Louis-Dreyfus studied theater at Northwestern University where she was also a recipient of a Doctor of Arts in 2007. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe and SAG Award in 2007 and received an additional SAG Award nomination in 2009. Louis-Dreyfus currently stars on CBS' hit comedy "The New Adventures of Old Christine." In 2006, she won an Emmy® for her portrayal of Christine Campbell and was again nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series category in 2007, 20. Louis-Dreyfus earned worldwide acclaim and recognition for her portrayal of Elaine Benes in the hit NBC series "Seinfeld."
